Location Change for This Meeting!

Homewood Public Library at 10:00 a.m.

Crewel embroidery, or crewelwork, is a centuries-old technique that uses wool and a wide variety of different embroidery stitches to create fabric masterpieces. Erica Hlebowitsh, a member of Birmingham Needlearts, will join us this month to discuss crewel embroidery and to demonstrate some of these stitches. Supplies will be provided so attendees can follow along, practice, and get a feel for crewel embroidery.

Please note that this month’s program will be held at the Homewood Public Library in their large auditorium The library is located at 1721 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL 35209. The large auditorium is on the main level near the Book Drop entrance. Our appreciation to board member Heather Cover for arranging our meeting place this time in the unavailability of our usual space.

Another change just for this meeting, the Guild will not be providing coffee or snacks for this meeting. You are welcome to bring your own. We will break for lunch on your own and return for Show and Tell, as usual.
