Woven Snowflakes - Our March Meeting

Our March meeting was a delightful workshop with Carolyn Ray featuring a Make & Take woven snowflake project. Between instruction, Carolyn introduced us to a variety of woven baskets made of different materials and from different cultural traditions. 

The baskets were glorious, and we had a great time learning about different techniques and materials from Carolyn. 

 

Of course, we also had a wonderful time crafting our woven snowflakes (as evidenced by Mary's beautiful smile!), and are looking forward to the Basket Weaving workshop Carolyn is offering later this year. Sign-ups are limited for that program, so please reach out if you are interested. The cost is $45.
