The March Guild meeting (March 12) will be “Knitting OUTSIDE the Box: creativity exercises for fiberistas”. The basic idea is to explore new materials and stitches as a way to get our creativity flowing. We will divide up into tables for exercises and discussions. For anyone who doesn’t knit but would like to learn, we will also have a table for beginners. EVERYONE welcome, knitter or not!!
Remember we will be at our new location at the Hoover Church of Christ. Address is 3248 Lorna Rd, B’ham, 35216. Please park in the large parking lot behind the building. There is a set of double doors under a drive thru carport. Enter through these back doors. Someone should be there to direct you.
We are also going to extend our meeting time frame to accommodate our fantastic growth! We will spend 10am to 12pm on announcements and Show and Tell, so bring your most recent FO or WIP to show off!! Then there will be a lunch break from 12-12:45. Feel free to bring a lunch; there is a refrigerator/microwave for our use. You are also welcome to go out to eat or to bring a lunch back. Lunch will be followed by our program from 12:45 to 2pm!
