Getting out of the comfort zone

We all have some techniques or patterns that are more comfortable than others. While walking a familiar path can be relaxing and satisfying, sometimes we find ourselves in a rut when we really want to be more creative. The program on knitting creativity (experimenting with knitting for beginners and knitting textures and materials for more advanced knitting) led by Jennifer Lackey was certainly a rut-buster. Our new meeting spot in the Hoover Church of Christ was fantastic--lots of space and tables for fiber activities (and lunch!).
