Fiber Resolutions and Bring and Brag
For our January meeting we will make Fiber Resolutions for the new year and look at last year’s to see how we did. We will also share our fiber accomplishments. Bring your finished items to show to the group. If you want to, bring your oldest WIP and tell us it’s story and your future plans for it.
Name-tags: If you don’t have a name-tag or would like to replace your current one, look for the bucket of name-tag supplies at each meeting. If you would like to add something special of your own to the tag, don’t forget to bring it to the meeting.
Meeting Ideas: Look for an email coming soon, asking for ideas for future programs. If you have a particular craft expert or author who you would like to see via Zoom or in person, or a particular topic or craft you would like to see a presentation about or learn more about, let us know. Also, if you are willing to teach a program about a craft, or mentor someone new to a craft, let us know that, too.
Refreshments: After a long break from refreshments at the meeting, we’re starting up again! Jen will provide refreshments this time. Look for an email in the near future to sign up to provide them for a future meeting.
Membership Dues and Renewal; Dues are due!
The Guild’s membership year runs January through December. Annual dues are $25 per individual, and $30 per family. Dues are due by February 28th. If you want to keep getting meeting announcements and Zoom room information, don’t forget to renew soon. You may pay by cash/check at any meeting or mail your check to Jennifer Lackey. Dues also can be paid using PayPal. Please mark it “friends/family” and NOT “goods/services”. Use this address: paypal.me/GBFiberGuild or use our gmail account gbfiberguild@gmail.com
Our Zoom Room is open 24/7 for any member to practice using it. This is a subscription service provided by the guild for the use of its members for guild activity. Guild meetings and groups will take precedence over individual use. Please do not share the meeting and passcode numbers with non-members for the safety of all members.
