Membership Dues and Renewal; Dues are due!
The Guild’s membership year runs January through December. Annual dues are $25 per individual, and $30 per family. Dues are due by February 28th. If you want to keep getting meeting announcements and Zoom room information, don’t forget to renew soon. You may pay by cash/check at any meeting or mail your check to Jen Lackey. Check your membership email for her address.
Dues also can be paid using PayPal. Please mark it “friends/family” and NOT “goods/services”. Use this address: paypal.me/GBFiberGuild or use our gmail account gbfiberguild@gmail.com
Click here to PayOur program this month is: Needle-Felted Hearts
For our February meeting, we will make Needle felted hearts. The Guild will provide wool and needles, small felting pads, and a few heart-shaped cookie cutters. If you would like to, you can bring your own felting mat and/or cookie cutter.
Name-tags
If you don’t have a name-tag or would like to replace your current one, look for the bucket of name-tag supplies at each meeting. If you would like to add something special of your own to the tag, don’t forget to bring it to the meeting.
Meeting Ideas
Look for an email coming soon, asking for ideas for future programs. If you have a particular craft expert or author who you would like to see via Zoom or in person, or a particular topic or craft you would like to see a presentation about or learn more about, let us know. Also, if you are willing to teach a program about a craft or mentor someone new to a craft, let us know that, too.
Refreshments
After a long break from refreshments at the meeting, we’re starting up again! Look for an email in the near future to sign up to provide them for a future meeting.
Our Zoom Room
Our Zoom Room is open 24/7 for any member to practice using it. This is a subscription service provided by the guild for the use of its members for guild activity. Guild meetings and groups will take precedence over individual use. Please do not share the meeting and passcode numbers with non-members for the safety of all members.
